New Equations Foundation Newsletter: Moving the Wisdom of the Nine Soultypes out into the World

New Equations at the Harmony Festival
New Equations Foundation and New Equations were Supporting Sponsors at the 33^rd annual Harmony Festival in Santa Rosa, California this past June. The Foundation and New Equations were well represented this year with a large 20 x 20 foot booth in the Well Being Pavilion as well as a tent in the VIP area. At the booth in the Well Being Pavilion, tables were set up with posters and information about Body Resonant Music™ and the nine Soultypes. Stereo headphones, provided by the Foundation, were made available at eighteen stations where people could sit and listen to Body Resonant Music – music composed by New Equations in special Soultype frequencies. People could listen for as long as they liked.

Siv Roland Performs Body Resonant Music
Siv Roland, a New Equations Certified Teacher and accomplished musician, conductor and pianist, took to the Tea House stage for her first live public performance of Body Resonant Music. Her participation and contributions were made possible by the support of the Foundation. Siv played selections from each of the four CDs, Pesdjet–Music from the Nine, Body Meditation, Source, and Music from the Stillpoint.

Siv also played at the New Equations booth in the Well Being Pavilion, drawing people in like a magnet. Whenever she played in the booth, people would gravitate to listen, even though there was a lot of background noise.

Alan Sheets and Barbara Tovey, cofounders of New Equations, and the New Equations Certified Teachers, could see the positive impact Siv’s performance had on people and the power that the music has on the body even if it is not consciously perceived. These observations provided valuable input for the Foundation’s music research project.

Alan Sheets Introduces New Equations
Alan Sheets spoke from the Harmony Festival’s Wellness Stage and introduced people to several of the body’s nine movement centers. Alan demonstrated how using Body Resonant Music stimulates these centers, allowing spiritual energy to flow directly into the body.

Soultyping at the Festival
Members of the Harmony Festival board of directors and festival executives were offered the opportunity to bring special guests to be soultyped by Alan and Barbara in the New Equations VIP tent. Having recently been soultyped at a New Equations workshop themselves, they were eager to share this experience. At the workshop, one member of the board described the Soultypes as nine languages you carry in your body and can learn to speak.

Working with these guests allowed Alan and Barbara to observe the impact of Body Resonant Music on people who had just been soultyped. Immediately after each person was soultyped, he or she listened for five minutes to Body Resonant Music. Listening to this specially tuned music extended the experience of the body and soul alignment that happens during the soultyping process. One guest who has been doing transcendental meditation for many years was surprised to find that he could immediately shift his consciousness into the place of no thought by using the music, when usually it takes some time to get there. Another who was a trained martial artist discovered that he was more balanced and could work with energy more powerfully when he used his Soultype’s energy center at the center of the sternum instead of centering himself at the dan tien (the location martial arts students are taught to move from that is located near the navel ). Alan and Barbara could see that listening to Body Resonant Music helped these people express their spiritual nature and move forward into the world with clarity about how to use their new way of being.

The Momentum Is Building!
New Equations held a workshop entitled “Discover Your Soultype, Uncover Your Path – ‘A Transformational Experience that Lasts a Lifetime’” on September 24, 2011 in Novato, California, USA. Alan Sheets led thirteen people through a process of Soultyping and deepening the nine energy centers in their bodies. Incorporating what was learned at the Harmony Festival, Alan used the Body Resonant Music extensively. Here are some thoughts that people shared about this workshop:

“The group met in a lovely location and spent the day learning about our greatest strengths. It was actually a thrilling experience, in a deep, practical kind of way. This is very important work, extremely helpful for knowing oneself in relation to others, and appreciating our similarities and differences. The body tells the truth about a person. New Equations brings that truth forward through simple exercises that reveal one’s Soultype. Doing these exercises empowers you and helps you appreciate yourself and all humanity.”

“The combination of the Body Resonant Music and Alan pushing on us several times in our soul strength created a physical experience that was incredible and undeniable to all. The energy felt so clean, and while intense, the purity of it made it feel light, and good, and wholly nourishing to the body and the soul. I didn’t want to leave this place, I just wanted to stay in it and drink it in and maintain the beautiful spiritual connection we had created with one another.”

New Equations Foundation
The Foundation has benefited from the generosity of many individuals. This generosity has helped realize the initial goal of further understanding the musical creative process and how music played in body resonant frequency supports a person’s body in connecting with their spiritual nature. The Foundation continues to fund this research.

Additional research projects continue to move the wisdom of the nine Soultypes into the world. For instance, Alan and Barbara are investigating the relationship between Soultype and individuals who are part of multiple births (twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc.; either fraternal, identical, or mirror.)
